Missions

Gateway to World Service
Rooted in our founding mission to prepare students for Christian service, especially in global contexts, we have an enduring commitment to equipping students to serve both locally and internationally. Whether through short-term missions, service projects, or lifelong vocational ministry, Simpson students are empowered to live out the Great Commission in every corner of the world.
From the classroom to the city streets, and from Redding to remote villages abroad, we believe every student has a role in bringing hope, healing, and the love of Christ to a world in need.
What is WorldSERVE?
WorldSERVE promotes both local and international mission opportunities for students during their time at Simpson. Through short-term mission trips, on-campus training, small groups, and Global Impact Week, students are equipped to serve with purpose and compassion.
Students raise their own support through personal contributions, prayer letters, and team fundraisers. Training begins near the end of the fall semester and includes regular team meetings and all-team training sessions.
Ways to Support
Your generosity helps send students across the globe to serve communities in need. Attach gifts to individuals, or support entire missions. Visit the above links to give to your chosen mission. Reach out to Brandon Hall for questions.
Additional Service Opportunities
In living out our value of service, the Spiritual Formation Office plans, coordinates, and executes a variety of service projects throughout the year with the help of the Spiritual Formation Team. Some common service sites are local churches and schools, and nonprofit organizations. Staff, faculty, and students are encouraged to join as we serve our city with the love of Christ.
At Simpson, we believe that to be a true Gateway to World Service, we must start with our local community. A Day of Service is also set aside each fall, where all students, staff, and faculty spend a day in service to the City of Redding.
