    • President - Jennifer Fox

I have been at Simpson since 2013, where I started as Assessment Coordinator. The next year I moved into the role of Director of Institutional Research and Assessment, which is the position I currently hold. I am also the Accreditation Liaison Officer. I have worked in higher education since 2004. I began my journey in the field of Institutional Research as an undergraduate student, by assisting my advisor in his doctoral research, examining the relationship between faculty and students as my senior project. Three years later I discovered the field of Institutional Research and have found it to be a wonderful fit for my skills. Assessment of learning outcomes has always and increasingly been part of my role, and I find it a wonderful balance of the number-heavy task of data reporting.

I am a Simpson graduate (BA Mathematics, 2001) and always imagined moving back to Redding, and working at my alma mater. After finding my husband in southern California, I found a job in Redding and that became reality. I am blessed to be working at Simpson, with an amazing group of caring employees. I am honored to be elected as Staff Council Vice President. It is my priority to support staff in any and all ways possible and be an avenue of communication.

    • Vice President - Sarah Bish

I am Sarah Bish, the coordinator for the School of Adult and Graduate Professional Studies. I have been with Simpson for just a short while, but in that time I have found the staff, faculty, and students to share an incredible sense of community and love for our heavenly Father; which is why I am honored to be Vice President of the staff council.

My first priority is to focus on staff morale; I want to know what would make your work day better! I would also like to continue supporting our focus for a Christ filled community.

    • Area Representative for Academics - Cassandra Heath
    • Area Representative for Advancement - Karla Dillon

I have been married to my husband Sean for nearly 23 years. I have bunches of adult children: Kim, Rhonda, Krystal, Shea and Steven and am proud of each one of them! My favorite past times are vacations with a mission, having ministered in Mexico, Belize, Turkey, Bulgaria, France and Romania.

I earned my BA in Organizational Leadership through the ASPIRE program in 2009. I have worked at Simpson for 6 years in the Advancement Department in the areas of Alumni and Parent Relations to create awareness, develop relationships, and raise resources for Simpson University. I have a passion for serving with and working alongside others toward a common goal. My current role as the Alumni Relations and Events Manager provides me with many opportunities to work with alumni, students and other departmental staff through events such as Homecoming, Senior Banquet, Celebration Weekend, Orientation and more. I am proud to represent the Advancement Department on the Staff Council Leadership Committee. It is my privilege to take forward to the larger group any ideas, concerns, and/or questions brought to me.

    • Area Representative for Business Services - Heidi Harris

I am a fairly new recruit to Simpson U, having been hired as the Accounts Payable coordinator in August of 2014. South African by birth, but a very blessed adoptee of the USA for a decade now. I am the proud mother of four amazing children Carmen, Nicolas, Andrew and Carowyn. Also recently had the wonderful privilege of becoming Grandma to Taydon. Besides a house full, we also have 11 pets and some fish. Just call us your local Zoo...

With the Lord's help, I hope to serve on the Staff council to the best of my ability. Coming alongside my fellow council members and hopefully together we can help make Simpson an even better place to be!
