Missions
What is WorldSERVE?
WorldSERVE exists to equip and empower short-term missions by training students to live a life on mission. Whether across the globe or in their own communities, we want Simpson students to be ready to share the love of Christ wherever they are. Through short-term mission trips, on-campus training, small groups, and Global Impact Week, students are equipped to serve with purpose and compassion.
Mission Statement
The Three E’s

Encouraging
Encouraging long-term workers on the field through prayer, presence, and partnership.
Engaging
Engaging local communities by serving, listening, and loving with humility, service, and purpose.

Encountering
Encountering God, others, and the broader world of missions—shaping hearts to consider long-term service or lifelong missional living.
Additional Service Opportunities
In living out our value of service, the Spiritual Formation Office plans, coordinates, and executes a variety of service projects throughout the year with the help of the Spiritual Formation Team. Some common service sites are local churches and schools, and nonprofit organizations. Staff, faculty, and students are encouraged to join as we serve our city with the love of Christ.
At Simpson, we believe that to be a true Gateway to World Service, we must start with our local community. A Day of Service is also set aside each fall, where all students, staff, and faculty spend a day in service to the City of Redding.
