SPIRITUAL FORMATION
Spiritual Formation at Simpson University is designed to help students in their faith development. The focus of the department is to encourage local church connection, gospel exposure and Biblical literacy in chapel, and engagement in spiritual experiences. There are different opportunities that the Spiritual Formation team hosts to offer a place for students to experience God and grow in their faith.
CHAPEL
Chapel is designed to intentionally develop the life of our community through meaningful worship, inspirational messages, opportunities to share our spiritual journeys, and helpful, biblically-based instruction. Chapel takes place every Wednesday and Friday from 10:20 – 11:20 am.
This Spring 2025 semester’s theme is The Authentic You – Identity & Calling. We will explore our identity in Christ and calling in the world. With so many voices shapng our self-perception, it is crucial to ask, “Who does Jesus say I am?”
We will discover what it means to live out our true identity in Him, embracing our unique roles and purpose within His grand design.

WorldSERVE

Every fall, students are invited to join a WorldSERVE trip and take a yearlong discipleship journey which includes a short-term service project. The main objective is that students would BE DISCIPLED here, in order to MAKE DISCIPLES in the nations. It’s really not about the “trip”, but about the discipleship journey, both in us and to the ends of the earth.
