This concert features a vibrant mix of patriotic favorites as we celebrate 250 years of America’s rich musical heritage, featuring a vibrant mix of patriotic favorites, works by renowned American composers, and selections that capture the spirit, diversity, and story of the nation.

Performed by the Simpson University Music Department, the program showcases the talents of the Chorale, Jazz Band, and Symphonic Choir. The evening will also include special guest performances by the Redding Bell Peppers handbell choir, adding a unique and dynamic element to this memorable tribute.

From powerful choral works to lively jazz and beloved patriotic pieces, this concert offers something for all ages and invites the community to reflect on the music that has shaped America’s identity.

Growing Up! A Musical Revue – Concert

“Getting taller; getting wiser. A Musical journey exploring who we are and who we are becoming.”
 
Through a thoughtfully curated collection of Broadway and movie musical solos, duets, and ensemble songs, accompanied by a live band, the evening explores the storyline of identity, growth, and becoming who we are meant to be.
 
Featuring the Simpson Chorale under the direction of Lauren Dillon, this revue reflects the voices, creativity, and collaboration of Simpson students as they invite the audience into a reflective and hope-filled journey. Whether you are part of the campus community or joining us as a guest, this is an opportunity to enjoy meaningful music, support student artists, and share in an evening shaped by honesty, imagination, and joy.
