Navigating Life’s Hard Financial Decisions – Courtney McElvain & Ann Marie Tyrrell

March 25, 2026 by Tenyson Fowler

Financial clarity doesn’t start with investments: it starts with decisions. Wealthwise Partners presents Navigating Life’s Hard Financial Decisions, a series of standalone classes designed to help you navigate often unspoken choices that drive stress and conflict when left unaddressed. Beyond investment performance, this series centers on the decisions behind the numbers, blending practical guidance with the human side of money in four areas: 1) planning for retirement, 2) navigating family relationships, 3) coordinating tax & estate decisions, and 4) the meaning behind your money. You’ll gain clarity and actionable tools to move forward with confidence and intention.

March 16, 2026 by Tenyson Fowler

Simpson University, in partnership with the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute, welcomes John Coleman to campus on April 13 from 9:00–10:00 AM.

Coleman serves as Co-CEO of Sovereign’s Capital, a global investment firm focused on partnering with purpose-driven companies and leaders. Prior to this role, he held several leadership positions at Invesco Ltd., including Head of Invesco Private Capital Partners, COO of Private Markets, and Global Head of Strategy and Business Planning.

Earlier in his career, Coleman worked in consulting and finance with organizations including McKinsey & Company, Bridgewater Associates, and the Housing Partnership Network.

In addition to his leadership in the investment world, Coleman is a frequent writer and public speaker whose work has appeared in Harvard Business Review and Forbes. He is also the author of multiple books, including The HBR Guide to Crafting Your Purpose.

Students, faculty, and community members are invited to attend this Q&A-style conversation on leadership, investing, and purpose-driven work. Following the event, Coleman will also be signing copies of his books.
