Student Financial Aid Dates and Deadlines
Obtaining financial aid involves a process. This process requires a team effort between you, the student, and the financial aid staff. It is our desire for you to work through this process in a timely and seamless manner. Please note the following important dates to help all the pieces of your financial aid package come together as quickly as possible.
Removal of Institutional Charges Policy

Important Disbursement Information
Disbursement of funds for students with an actual credit balance on their account begin the third Friday after classes begin. All disbursements will be issued via a reloadable Simpson University Visa® Prepaid Card, direct ACH deposit to a designated bank account or check. Students will receive an e-mail from firstname.lastname@example.org providing a secure link to select their preferred disbursement method.

Verification deadline for the summer semester. If all requested documentation is not submitted by this deadline all institutional aid is subject to cancellation.
Verification deadline for the fall semester. If all requested documentation is not submitted by this deadline all institutional aid is subject to cancellation.
Fall owing balance due in full.
Fall semester begins.
This date is the earliest you may file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for the upcoming school year. Be sure to use your prior/prior year tax information when you file (example: use 2015 tax information when you file the 2017-18 FAFSA).
The FAFSA and an additional GPA verification form must be filed and postmarked by March 2 for all possible recipients who are applying to receive a Cal Grant award for the first time. The March 2 deadline is established by the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) and is not flexible.
Complete course registration for the Spring semester.
Spring owing balance due in full.
