Hawks in the Nest
We’d like to invite our current Red Hawks to share the Simpson experience with their siblings during our first-ever Hawks in the Nest! This two-day event, held during Homecoming & Family Weekend (Friday, October 24 – Saturday, October 25), is all about connection, fun, and family.
Bring your sibling to campus to experience life at Simpson University, explore what it means to be a Red Hawk, and make lasting memories together. It’s a special opportunity for your sibling to see your “home away from home” while beginning their own college search.
Fall Preview Weekend 2025
CALLING ALL PROSPECTS, are you looking to broaden your college search? This is the event for you! Join us for our annual Fall Preview Weekend, an opportunity to come live like a Simpson Red Hawk! Sit in on current classes, tour campus, get hosted overnight by current Simpson students and take part in one of our favorite campus life events. The Davenport Derby, is the most anticipated event of the year, and you don’t want to miss it!
Spring Preview Weekend
Spring Preview Weekend offers a unique opportunity to explore campus life at Simpson University.
Your weekend will consist of a tour of the beautiful Simpson campus, chapel service, shadowing a class, partaking in meals in the dining hall, staying overnight in the dorms (optional), meeting professors, working with your admissions counselor, attending the Silent Disco student life event, and MORE!
Students will have the option to stay overnight in the residence halls with a current Simpson student. Check-in for our Spring Preview Weekend will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, February 28th.

Students will have the option to stay overnight in the residence halls with a current Simpson student. Check-in for our Spring Preview Weekend will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, March 1st. Attending this event could qualify you to receive our $1,000 Visit Scholarship.
